Clearly a colorful, ritualistic event, Jean, but I sure would like to know the meaning/purpose of the spikes on the back of the chair, very close to his back?????
He is the representative (medium) of the Chinese god, that’s the only answer I can give, I don’t know more at the moment.
What a colourful series this is, Jean. A real Fakir and I love your last image of the series. The spikes covered by a cloth so that his cloths are not catching with the nails. Priceless. Great series.
