Le 20 avril, notre seigneur Jom Thong, dieu guerrier et parrain du village de Salokbat depuis plus de 90 ans, représenté par son « médium », parcourt dans les rues du marché ou les habitants peuvent lui laver pieds et mains. Il est accompagné par des habitants en tenues chamarrées qui dansent le long des rues. La cérémonie démarre dès le matin au temple, situé au coeur de la ville.
On April 20, our Lord Jom Thong, warrior god and godfather of the village of Salokbat for more than 90 years, represented by his « medium », walks the streets of the market where the inhabitants can wash his feet and hands. He is accompanied by residents in colourful outfits who dance along the streets. The ceremony starts in the morning at the temple, located in the heart of the city.
