Quel architecte a eu l’idée de construire un temple là-haut, et y a même pas d’ascenseur !
Que ne ferait-on pas pour être le plus haut, le plus grand, le plus près de « dieu » !
Cela dit, ce temple est superbe et la vue d’en haut magnifique !
Ce n’est pas si difficile à grimper tout la-haut, il y a des autels intermédiaires et des terrasses avec des bancs pour se reposer le temps de souffler un peu. Tu auras l’occasion de le juger au court des épisodes suivants.

what an impressive construction right at the top, it must have been a tough endeavour to haul up the construction materials over there. i like the view from the top. and even now, pumping up water everyday and other supplies, for instance.
Yes, but stairs, altars, statues, Buddhas, showcases, etc. were built over the years. I had already been to Mount Popa a few years ago. I must note that the altars have multiplied on the platform at the top; that there is less and less space to admire or photograph the landscape, it is a little damaging to the whole site, alas.

Wow – this looks like a great place to visit, but I don’t think I would like to drag a couple of toddlers with me!
The ascent is not as difficult as it seems… many stops are possible, the multiple landings and benches are provided in this regard, in order to catch your breath.

Du coup l’accés n’est pas pour tout le monde, seuls les plus en forme peuvent y accéder c’est un peu dommage !

Pas de problème, l’ascension est très agréable, car on n’est pas pressé, tout au long du parcours les autels sont nombreux à visiter… puis les bancs sur les multiples paliers permettent de reprendre son souffre, ainsi que d’admirer le paysage au fur et à mesure de l’on grimpe. Bref, je n’ai pas du tout souffert, malgré mon grand âge.
