No, I have never seen women and men together, but I have seen a woman fishing alone, in another way, with a funnel-shaped net, sliding it on the edge of the lagoon in Selong-Blanac. I will try to find this scene that dates back one or two years and send it to you.
Des images fort rafraichissantes ! Lorsque je vivais en Côte d’Ivoire dans une réserve forestière nous allions pêcher à la ligne au marigot avec mes frères. Des tilapias, des hemichromis, des poissons chat, des crabes, tout cela minuscule mais qui finissait dans la soupe de notre mère (avec des herbes bien sûr)
Sous un climat tropical, c’est bien agréable de vivre, pas besoin de gros et lourds vêtements, la preuve… il suffit toutefois d’avoir un bon chapeau de paille de préférence, comme ici présent. Voilà la raison principale depuis que j’ai pris ma retraite de ma présence en Asie.

You are absolutely right, a day of fishing is much better than a day of work, especially when working at the factory or with a jackhammer.

Kids are carefree compared to adults with clothes on. Just lucky there are no mosquitoes.
Children are carefree, natural in their behaviour and are not tormented by mosquitoes.

the water seems shallow, but perhaps a quantity of small fish will provide a family dinner
